Nintendogs + Cats Chapter 2: Lure Coursing

Welcome back to the Clairizard Game Reviews Nintendogs Series! Yes, that is the official name now. This chapter we’ll take a walk downtown and even compete in the Lure Coursing Junior Cup (again, I assume you read the title). So, without further ado, may chapter two of the Clairizard Game Reviews Nintendogs Series (wow, that’s a mouthful) begin.

I took Millie out for an evening walk. I say “evening,” but I really mean eleven-thirty at night. This wasn’t the same route we normally walk, though, because this time, we took our first walk downtown. Not that different from a normal walk, but there’s much more to do. We met a lot of other dogs and their owners. We even stopped at the café. Millie played for a while, but she ended up falling asleep. I guess that’s not that unreasonable considering it’s eleven o’clock at night. Millie was very tired, but I think she enjoyed it. I definitely did.

We got home and Millie just crashed. Again, very reasonable considering it was almost midnight. I realized the floor doesn’t seem very comfortable. I decided Millie deserved better. I went out to the store to buy comfy furniture. I ended up getting a bed, a dog bed, and a couch (which cost quite a bit). I returned home and placed the furniture around. Seeing Millie had woken up, I waited to see how Millie would react. She walked over to the bed and tried it out. She seemed to like it. She still ended up falling asleep on the floor, though, so I don’t know.

The next morning, we attempted the Lure Coursing competition. We entered the Junior Cup. Our first attempt went surprisingly well. We finished a few seconds behind first (so close). The second attempt was fairly similar. We continued to try again and again for the next few days until we finally won!

Thanks for reading… I hope you enjoyed… what? I’m forgetting something? The pedometer walk? Oh, right! I totally forgot the pedometer walk! What? Oh, uh, I mean… I totally didn’t forget about the pedometer walk. I don’t know what you guys are talking about. How could I forget about the pedometer walk? That would be preposterous…

The pedometer walk. Last time I didn’t really go on a walk. I just ran on Wii Fit. This time I wanted to try the walking feature for real. I turned on the pedometer and went on a walk down my block and back. It was really nice walking outside. I’d rarely ever went on a walk like that previously. It was fun going on a walk and feeling like I was walking Millie at the same time. When I got back, I checked the 3DS and I’d walked over twenty-three hundred steps.

Alright, for real this time. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed! What’s happening next chapter that I’m so excited about? Ha! Do you really think I’m going to tell you? You’ll just have to wait for the next installment (or I guess the title) of the Clairizard Game Reviews Nintendogs Series.
